How a custom closet project works
1. Free in-home consultation. We visit your home, measure the room and talk through what you store and how you get ready each day. We bring material and finish samples, so you can see colors and textures in your own light instead of choosing from a screen.
2. Design and proposal. We develop the layout around the room — hanging, shelves, drawers, shoes and accessories — and recommend materials and hardware that fit your budget. You receive a clear proposal with the layout, finishes and price before anything is ordered.
3. Fabrication. Every component is cut to the dimensions of your room. Nothing is forced into a standard kit size.
4. Installation and final fitting. Our team assembles and fits the system in your home, adjusts doors and drawers, and leaves the space clean and ready to use.
Materials and hardware
We build with two main material families:
- Melamine panels — durable, easy to clean and available in a wide range of solid colors and wood-grain finishes. A practical choice for closets that are used hard every day.
- Wood-veneer panels with a factory-applied lacquer finish — a real wood surface with a consistent, protective finish, for clients who want the warmth and depth of natural wood.
Hardware is selected for the project, not one-size-fits-all. We work with options from cost-effective lines up to premium European hardware such as Blum, so you can decide where to invest: soft-close drawers, hinges, pullouts and accessories.
What a custom closet costs
Our pricing sits in the middle of the market: a fully custom, made-to-measure closet without the premium mark-up of large national brands. The final price depends on the size of the room, the number of drawers and doors, the material and the hardware level you choose. Warranty
Every MONO CLOSETS installation is covered by a 2-year warranty on our workmanship and installation. Hardware is additionally covered by its manufacturer’s warranty — premium hardware brands such as Blum offer long-term coverage on their mechanisms.
