Custom Closets in Hidden Hills

Hidden Hills is a gated community of large homes on spacious lots, next to Calabasas where we have completed projects. Closets here are usually rooms in their own right, and the question is how to make a large space feel organized, calm and easy to use.

For dressing rooms we plan circulation first: a comfortable aisle, an island with drawers where there is clearance all around it, long-hang and double-hang areas on separate walls, a shoe wall and a place for bags and accessories. Integrated lighting and mirrors complete the room.

Large homes also bring other storage needs: his-and-hers closets, guest suites, linen storage, laundry rooms and garages. We can plan them together so the cabinetry and finishes are consistent across the house.

Materials are chosen with you during the free in-home consultation — wood-veneer panels with a factory lacquer finish for a furniture-like look, melamine for hard-working interiors, and hardware up to Blum. Visits to gated communities are scheduled in advance.
